The story behind the song: In the early stages of my journey as a Christian, I grappled with the perennial conflict between pursuing what is righteous and resisting the allure of what is not. This internal struggle mirrored a profound clash between spiritual aspirations and earthly temptations, a timeless struggle that continues to shape my faith to this day. Though I persist in facing ongoing challenges, I derive peace and strength from the timeless wisdom imparted by God's word (Bible). Embracing the assurance that I confront every obstacle in life with the steadfast presence of God/Jesus/Holy Spirit by my side, I find unwavering comfort in the knowledge that my faith serves as a guiding beacon through life's trials & temptations, unexpected, and unforeseen circumstances and storms.
