My best guess is that the cybor cab will be built by bots. People do the same task all day. Each bot only has to fill a single position. Bots are a major cost driver in the robo project. The two are joined at the hip. You won't reach profitabilty with out the use of bots. Comments please!

That's the excellent move to lower labor cost, and improve the efficiency. Those androids don't need to rest and eat. They don't ask too much compare to US and EU workers....

I really don't think Optimus will be ready for at least a year, it's nice the bot is getting real world interaction and manipulation training. But the bot will be requiring these types of training to build its general purpose application.

Do you think that Tesla's Optimus humanoid robot will be able to read, write, reason, think, simulate emotions, feelings, have reflexes, senses, etc.

Jeff 👍 Need more information to evaluate Tesla's "Optimus in factory". Simple pick and place tasks would be old news. Pick, reorient, align, and place and handle exceptions such as incorrect/faulty part would be new as would active visual QA. My personal feeling is that Elon would show us if Optimus was functioning at a level above what we are seeing from other bots.
