    It's nice to see such an iconic engine like the 300 straight 6 get some love. Ford made those for ages. They weren't the most powerful, but their simplicity made them indestructable.
  • When i paint my engines black i always leave the freeze plugs till after paint so the brass will pop with the black and give it that extra bling factor. Looks good

  • Nice 300 Big 6 refresh with a little extra muscle! Now, I am eagerly anticipating a serious Turbocharged effort with port & polish, bigger cam, twin carb manifold (or single port) from Clifford/Summit & Fitech central EFI unit(s) & Boooost! Out perform the turbo's 292. Thanks for the love on Ford's Big 6! I love the Power nation show!

  • I love my 93 F-150 4x2, 4.9 L6 (300 cu. in.), with an M5OD 5 speed manual. It's a truck that's fun to drive while rowing the gears. A nostalgic blast from the past.
  • Oh how I wish I could still do stuff like that. I built a 2L Ford Pinto engine years ago, it was a lot of fun and the end results were awesome, it produced around 250hp and loved to run!!
