GOD the most RELATABLE thing I've ever heard a YouTube say is "showering when you're chronically ill is exhausting". NO ONE EVER UNDERSTANDS THIS THANK YOU. I need this on a sticker.
  • @Gleebaer
Luci is the best and must be protected at all cost!!
  • @Charlotte-xt4wx
The music that plays everyday at 6pm is to tell children to go home before it gets dark.
  • @Chibihugs
Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your daily life in Tokyo. 5 things I liked about this video - Petunia's artful dancing, your wrap shirt, the snack search at the grocery store, you giving yourself breaks to rest and activities to help rehabilitate yourself, you and Luci being a goofy, adorable loving couple.
  • @ttthildeee
The Petunia-dance was soooo cute!! As a 23-year old I am glad I am not the only one still sleeping and doing silly dances with stuffed animals! They're so comforting! Also, shout-out to Luchi for being so so so supportive, loving and also just silly to try and make you smile. Man, you're amazing!

This was so nice to see! My partner is disabled, I'm his luci I suppose, and it's so nice seeing someone living a 'normal' that's similar to ours. Thanks so much for sharing your day, and I hope you have a lovely birthday 💚
  • Exam season has hit once again and it's beyond lovely to see someone else with the same struggles like chronic illnesses and migraines actually going about their day and seeing you don't have to be productive from 6am to 10pm 🕙
  • @lucioleml
I can't wait for your wrap shirt tutorial it looks super nice ! Also thanks for the "sharing 5 good things about your day when you had a bad day" tip, we'll be doing that with my partner in the future as I'm sure it'll help a little <3
  • @BusyAsAGhost
As someone with chronic pain (constant migraine & fibro for 8 years), everything about this vlog was accurate. The sleeping in, the pain hunger, and the glasses. Oh, the pink glasses. Let's just say, I felt this in my bones!
  • @dldzioba
Watching you two together is so freaking sweet. You two just radiate love and it's awesome. I get you on the showers being super tiring. I'm glad I'm not the only one like that.
  • @xTaintedRedx
As someone with Elhers Danlos Syndrome, it’s so nice to see your day be somewhat similar to mine. It takes me hours to get up and ready to do anything, and once I’m up, I’m afraid to stop because once I do, I can’t keep going. Also, it’s so true that once it’s actually time for bed, nope, you’re awake now, TOO BAD. Great video Annika 💕
  • @ginny_mov
Loved this video! Luci is so supportive. I also laughed SO hard when he mentioned an 18th century bundling board, I make that same joke all the time. So funny! Thank you for sharing your day with us! And happy birthday!!!
  • @LaynieFingers
I absolutely love your "5 things" exercise! I was literally lying in bed almost in tears with chronic pain, being snuggled by my husband because he is awesome... your bit about separate beds made me laugh, so I backed the video up and unplugged my headphones so my husband could hear. Then we paused as you were sharing positive moments so we could share our own! Honestly, these videos help so much more than you know sometimes. Thanks for the distraction and the inspiration,
  • I'm having a not-so-good pain day so l saved this video to watch when doing my own physio exercises and it made them much more bearable 😁😁 I really appreciate how you show all the ups and downs of chronic pain. It's nice to see someone else in a situation similar to me. I love your videos and they're so enjoyable to watch. Keep on doing you!!
  • @OMGitsaClaire
I love seeing glimpses of what days are actually like with chronic illness because I have one (I have skeletal asymmetry in my legs and hips which affects the way I walk and move). And sometimes days are going well and then all of a sudden something happens. Like last week I was having a fantastic day and then I slipped and fell down the stairs (with different length legs, stairs are not quite so easy or intuitive so me falling on them isn’t that unusual but it had been over six months since my last fall). Luckily I managed to land on a more squishy and not bony part of my body so nothing broken or sprained but I still had one heck of a bruise. But it kinda put a damper on my plans. And that’s okay. I don’t have to do everything at once. But seeing you honestly sharing about struggles and physiotherapy (which we call PT in the US) and pain is nice not only because it is relatable for way more of us than society would like you to believe but because it shows that our days aren’t that different and we still have more things we can do than we can’t. And it might spur some empathy and make people think before they assume. While my disability is physical and structural it isn’t very obvious unless you look very closely at how I walk or my shoes so I get a lot of “you’re young; you can’t have joint pain”. So maybe seeing your video will remind people to not assume based on appearances what people’s lives are like.

I'm stealing your "five favorite things" thing. I love that! I've been really struggling to find more ways to stay positive (I struggle with clinical depression) and I think that's a wonderful way to end on a positive and happy note!
  • @starkbux
The music that plays at 6 is actually an emergency broadcast test! It’s usually called the “5 o clock bell” but the time can vary. Kids also use it to know when to go home before dark.
