Don Hutson is a great pick for the Greatest Packer. He was so far ahead of the rest of the league that it is still mind-boggling. It speaks well of Antonio Freeman to give him proper respect like he does here. Leaving Forrest Gregg off this list is indefensible, however. Gregg made the NFL's 100th Anniversary team, meaning he was rated as one of the four greatest tackles in the history of professional football. No disrespect to Bart Starr, but he probably wouldn't make most lists of top 20 quarterbacks. It was wise to include Kramer, but foolish to omit Gregg.

And thanks for all the videos, Isaac Green. I wish the NFL network would start producing these again.

I wouldn't put James Lofton on the list, mainly because I think of him more as a Buffalo Bill than a Packer.
  • Herb Adderley would be be a superstar today instead of Apple underlining his last name in red as a spelling error.

I got a chance to have a 30 min conversation with Jerry Kramer and I tried to think of a good question to ask him when it was my turn to talk to him. I asked him who was the greatest athlete he ever played with and he talked about Ray Nitske for 30 mins. He said he could throw the ball 60+ yards.

I'm not a Green Bay Packers fan, but, I love watching episodes of 'The NFL's Top 10' like this one, for example where they focus on one team & you can compare the NFL's list to one that you made, or, vice-versa & an opportunity to see/watch/hear a possibly opposing view is presented & the chance to engage in a debate is available, as well. Depending on what NFL team/teams you like, you could probably watch episodes like this, for example over & over & over, again & never get tired of them.

Reggie White is remembered as a Packer AND an Eagle. Obviously he had great years in Philly. But he had 3 sacks in a SB win for Green Bay. He's remembered as a champion w/ the Packers.
