As an American, I've really enjoyed following the IPP series on NFL UK's channel this year, and I appreciate your interest in this sport. Here's hoping we have more and more players from the UK, Ireland, Continental Europe, Africa and beyond playing in the NFL in the coming years

Louis Rees Zammit will definitely get signed to one of the NFL practice squads. It's almost a guarantee. He has already been asked by 2 teams to visit them to discuss things further. They wanted to meet him. The Cleveland Browns and New York Jets have already met with him and other teams are also interested.

My Chiefs stay one step ahead, once again, freshly after the NFL Rules Committee voted to totally change the Kickoff scheme. Not to mention making the “hip drop” tackle a personal foul penalty, which I believe has always been banned in rugby! Gee..I wonder what LRZ could bring to the Chiefs?🤔🤔🤭🤭🤪

And now he’s gone ‘on trial’ (English translation🤪) to some big boy teams… 🔥🔥👊👊

Lads.. great show, very informative on the numbers. Just to confirm, it’s the “international player pathway” IPP 👍🏼

If LRZ can make it to the 52 man roster, then minimum salary is $825k. Practice squad MAX salary is $21,300.

Hoping the new guy with the Chiefs actually makes the roster and isn't sitting on the practice squad. I'd like to see more guys make it. Long term the league needs more international players since participation in the U.S. has been declining a bit.

Great insight, as a forest fan any chance of you guys explaining all the ffp and PSR stuff? Without making forest look bad of course 😂

Its nothing new for rugby (League) players making it at least into the practise squad through the IPP. Jarryd Hayne, Valentine holmes, and the most successful so far Jordan Mailata. Its only because a star from rugby (union) is attempting it that theres a big fuss. Lets wait and see if LRZ becomes as successful as Mailata who just extended for US$60 Million for 3 years bringing in his total earning to over US$120 Million so far

There are 32 teams in the NFL. Less than 1% of college players are drafted into the NFL.
