"Rome wasnt built in a day" Asmongold community: "hold our $2 steak"
  • @ESOdanny
ASMON's community should just build an MMO 😮

I think the most impressive thing about this video is the number of people following him through the castle - the fact that none of them run ahead of him or do anything to obstruct his view. Normally when you get that many people in one place on a server there's characters jumping all over the place. They treat him with so much respect lmfao.

As a proud slave I built the entrance towers, the walls connected to them and like 50% of the second floor and walls to the left. But I think the player "Jackhammer" did the most stone building. Very cool to see how he showcased it haha :D I think the game has so much potential if they nail combat and some convenience issues concerning Object interaction and clipping! And awesome to see how people are working all together in an instant without griefing or something. For example my builds wouldnt be possible at all without many people collecting materials and funneling us builders. Was a very impressive experience
  • This is why I wish more mmorpgs had player housing. There are people that love gathering materials and building crazy stuff. Makes the world feel larger.

Asmon the mad king, strutting around his gigantic castle in rags.
  • I like how he joins the material gathering process briefly to show that he's part of the community that built it all, just like Kim Jong Un would do

Big game company: It takes a long time to handcraft a world. Gamer: We can do it in two days. Hold our beers.

these insane MFers be building Minas Tirith in 2 days, honestly respect
  • @deltor5849
Everybody lining up by the stairs as if asmon about to come down with a crown of thorns while carrying a wooden cross lol

I love how it looks organic, like a real castle, bc a bunch of people are building it without mutch of coordination, or a concrete plan.
  • This reminds me of Minecraft in like 2012 when people had their hamachi servers with limited people in the server at the same time and everyone built their houses with just wood and cobblestone and there wasn't even any protection system, just for your chests... truly amazing times where people would build big villages with their houses and everyone enjoying it.

This is the best advertisement possible for a game like this, letting people see what is possible in a game like this if enough people get together and work together towards a common goal. I can't believe all this happened in just 2 days.

"This is what I hate about videogames, it like appeals to the male fantasy" The male fantaay:

it's like looking at a Dark Souls castle during its construction, when times were good.

The mountain for Minas Tirith is fine... but when Asmon zooms all the way out, there's this massive "crevice" directly linked to the mountain which makes for the PERFECT spot of Helms Deep. Just saying. Minas Tirith isn't really built on a mountain, but it's whatever right. It's not about accuracy tbh. Great job everyone, this looks amazing. Can't wait to see this progress.

Dude more devs need to weaponize this autist army. I can see just making a good base for a game of decent building system, resources to farm, maybe a basic combat system with a gm to oversee and sometimes spawn some monsters for them to fight... They will make you most epic cities and castles. After that you set your artists loose and polish it off, tweak it a bit and there you go! It's like watching an ant colony work honestly.

If watching Shadiversity for years has taught me anything, it's that one road going in needs a series of gatehouses along it. Great defendable position. Good luck for anything wanting to bring a siege tower up there.

Guys, this was amazing to wake up to! Amazing work and even more amazing teamwork. It's encouraging to see what's possible when people work together.
