I have to say the most impressive part of this was finding out that the blocks above you was in ASL. That is something you NEVER see in Minecraft and I wholeheartedly applaud that you were able to point that out.

that final beep of the compass tells me zach very much did not survive, as the beep indicated the presence of a ghost, so he most likely died at the end, so if on some off chance there is a part 2, it will most likely be him as a ghost

It feels like as he plays, his souls get sucked into it where he stops, realizing he's not in the real world anymore and all he can see is Minecraft. That's why he can't leave.
