I set my Canon Vixia HD camcorder at the bottom of the fans on a tripod, facing up the stairs for this fan video. These fans were set up in the long stairway to capture the unique acoustical reverbernce properties, provided by the ascending staircase. Each fan was on speed 3, or the highest which is the loudest. Once I turn them on in sequence from the bottom to the top and get them rolling, the screen is then darkened out so the light won't disturb you as you rest and sleep. This was done visa multiple subscribers requests. I listen to what you want, and deliver on the content you ask for!
The screen goes dark at 4 minutes in after you can clearly see the relaxing visuals of the box fans turning at full speed. I used my sure 57 microphone to pick up all the fan sounds and then mixed it into the fan video in multiple formats which created this unique fan tone to this video. Anyone else who loves the sound of fans find yourself also loving the feeling of being chilly? The cold air on your skin, slightly chilled. I mean sure it also feels great when you finally throw on that hoodie and those socks but, the chilly is fun too.

In my childhood in the 60s we didn't have air conditioning. And lived in FLA. 😖 The ONLY way to survive the summer and get sleep was right after your shower, have your box fan blowing full blast on your wet hair and skin. Ahhhhhhh. Can't make it to this day without a fan at night. Even camping! Thanks for this! 💖

This is GREAT!! I just wanted to say thank you. When I was a little boy, during the summer my Mom would try to get me to take a nap, but I resisted. She would lay a sleeping bag out in front of a box fan, and I would lay down and fall right to sleep😊.

This gives me an indescribable peace. Reminds me of times as a kid sleeping with the box fan in my window on a hot summer night. Not a worry in the world. Just sleeping soundly with sounds of frogs singing, crickets chirping, and fans whirring. Oh how I wish I could go back.

I think what makes this one interesting, is the "tunnel effect" of air being sent through them creates subtle harmonics... it's not simply a pure steady whirrrr.

Reminds me of the simple days as a child when me and my siblings and our father would cuddle in front of a box fan every night while sleeping. Now I lay with my husband at night and think about my dads final days, tucked comfortably in his hospital bed with the fan humming on his bedside table, my siblings and I sitting as close as we could, taking turns holding his hand. Love you dad. RIP Daniel 1965 to 2019.

Ok I know that this is really weird but I keep going back to the beginning of the video for the start up!! I wonder why that gives me such pleasure and happiness?
