I love watching the conversation between Mr. Knopfler and his guitar. Some players use their guitar like a hammer, which can yield impressive results, but nothing compares to listening to someone who treats their instrument like a partner...hopefully that makes sense..

Mark is like Bob. He never really plays the song the same way too many times. Mark is the master improviser. Like Hendrix always topping his excellence. We are fortunate to have video of his avo session. It's nice to watch the differences and timing of his twiddly bits and riffs from show to show.
