We can’t be more excited about all the progress we made this week. The French Farmhouse project is becoming more and more a future home. While Bram is busy with the tiles of the bathroom, Simon is preparing the vegetable garden for new plants. We are buying new tools this week and even a very big one! We started with sanding down the floor of our daughter’s room. After all thats the most important room of the house. And the results are even better than we hoped for. The weather isn’t helping us much but we just continue. There is nothing that will stop us making this house the home we were searching for. We don’t like the rain but all the plants and trees weve planted love it. We’ve got sunny days and rainy days so the grass is growing like crazy and the trees are preparing for a warm and long summer. Since we don’t have a mini tractor yet, there is no way we can cut the grass, thats something we try to tackle too this week. With all the new tools and maybe more… It’s a good thing we havent converted the barns into apartments yet. Now we have space enough to safely store all our tools and equipment.

Until that day when that little girl is old enough to realize her dads built an entire farm and renovated an entire house all for her, we hold her close in great thought with all of our heart as two of the best dads in France continue to make her future bright. That little girl is so lucky already and we haven’t even met yet. So exciting. 🥰❤️🥰❤️
  • You two are soooo cheerful and loving. And it takes huge patience to remodel those old buildings. Bravo!
  • @jamillikan
You men are so interesting and engaging. It seems like the two of you can do anything. You're a good match and a nice couple.
  • @Leslie_Wu0406
the smiles are really charming and healing. and just amazed and shocked how skillful both of you are.

The green has a cab. Good for cool, hot and drizzle weather. Although, the blue one speaks to me. Choose function first.
Bon travail. BLEU pour le tracteur! Alain et Etienne
  • Yea, Simon's turn to get toys! A tractor will be very handy. Bram is too modest--it is amazing how many projects he has taken on. You both should be very proud!

I have always wanted a green pick up truck and a green tractor...love new/old machines. Queers who love tractors...new identity group! But, seriously, I am sure you chose the one in the best shape with the capability that you need. Can't wait for the reveal. Great work guys.
  • @stepcots
You guys are doing such a great job with the renovation. Thank you for sharing it all…

I think the colour of the tractor is unimportant, what is important is that it is Simon Proof i.e. Simon cannot break it. Any excuse for Simon to get his hands on the chainsaw. The weather is the same here in the UK and it is depressing. Great video guys.
  • The green one. Ask the dealer to bring tins of red and blue paint just in case you fall out of love with it being green. 🥴 Hope it has a good sound system 😂

Complements to you all shower is BEAUTIFUL 🤗
  • Wiring the house (I cannot believe the skill set between you two!) is hardly a happy, bubbly chore, but the reward of power in the house will be tremendous.

The green tractor to keep you dry! Nothing like getting a new tool or peice of equipment 😊. My wife says I always get this big grin when I buy a new power tool. So I can fully understand your excitement about the tractor 😃. The tiles look awesome great job both of you and your father in law. Love the videos. 👏👍💕🇨🇦🌈🌈

Today is Arbor Day in America. Thank you for respecting trees. My vote is red tractor.

Glad I was not the only person to think a quad bike was not the answer . Red or blue will do the job and not break the bank . You can cut the grass and plough to grow food but you might have to buy a power harrow to make a seed bed. Wood chipper might save you buying pellets . When are you opening the camping site?
  • Hi Guys !, The floors look great! the bathroom will be amazing too ! Working together really gets the job done much quicker. What a team you all are ! Thanks for the baguette ! Be well and take care.

Green tractor unless the others have better attachments because there is no cabin. In the US you can rent floor sanders the size of a lawn mower that makes it harder to sand grooves in the floor. Sometimes renters ruin them and they make the floor worse. This chanel reminds me of Tyler and Todd in Canada. I hope you don’t have as many problems as they have had.

8:50 Not the best fix but when a dog cuts their pad you can cover it with Superglue. Clean the area, smear a hole small tube on the open area and let it dry. Then wrap it so he can't chew the glue off. You will need to redo the glue every other day or so but the skin will grow really fast under the glue. This isn't a vet fix, just an old farmer's trick. Works on people also.

Another great vlog…and great progress on the house. You both ( and Simon’s parents) are doing a fantastic job! Caught a glimpse of the dry hedge/fence …it looks great! It is so refreshing to see the joy on your faces when you complete a task or finish a days’ work leading to completing a project…also great to see the smile on Bram’s face when you two buy a new toy (aka tool) …not sure who has the bigger smile though Bram with a new tool or Simon with the chainsaw in his hand! LOL. Thanks guys …until next week…all the best (and I hope the weather gets better; I feel your pain, here we are having the 8th day of rain and this next week calls for a week more of rain, yikes!). 😅
