theory : The girl got in the forest without seeing the signs cause the signs fell on the floor so she cut trough the fence and accidentally stepped on a bear trap sadly she ran out of food and water the only thing she had was a piece of candy when she opened it she got you found me and then thats the last thing she ate and died cause of malnutrition and she bled cause of a bear trap on her leg causing her to loose blood

My theory is they were meant to be together so he could see her, and her lost soul was wondering around looking for him. And she didn’t want to hurt him so she didn’t tell him she was dead. Then when he found out that she was wasn’t real and she only thought it was right to lead him to the truth....so she gave a little bit more time with him until her soul passed on to the other side.. that’s why he stopped seeing her afterwards. So sad yet so beautiful 🥺❤️

Ever since that halloween film was out that first year I always watch it yearly. Its amazing, adorable and sad all at the same time. I can tell a lot of thought and detail was put into making it!
