thinking about it. eris has done nothing but improve her sword during her separation from rudeus. while rudy was busy attending school, building his social life, making experiments with the armor, and saving zenith, but he's still able to keep up with eris without wearing the armor. imagine if rudy became obsessed with only improving his combat skills. he would've been a beast.... or the old rudeus i guess.

Old rudeus at 10 million??? The only time we saw old rudeus was when he had a giant gaping hole in his stomach and was at the brink of death, but before that he could easily manipulate gravity and was basically the strongest mage out there.

Old Rudeus can face off against the human god with the possibility of winning, to the point that the human god had to destroy the forms so that he can reach him, He is the most broken character in the entire mushoku tensei franchise, he can regenerate his body parts no matter how bad his injuries are and without reciting incantation as long as he has mana, they had to nerf him making him not time travel effectively losing all his mana and half of his internal organs so he can't do anything but warn the young Rudeus, How about 10000000 if he is practically a god

Old Rudeus is the strongest, after Orsted. He controlled gravity and time. He Studied blood magic. He studied divine and Imperial level magic. He destroyed kingdoms alone. Even when he returned to the past, half of his organs were not moved with him, he was alive for a while.

This comparison is really bad. First, we don't get shown how strong each one of them is compared to the other at roughly the same time, but rather when they themselves reach certain milestones. Why would you compare an infant Rudy to an Eris on her anime debut. That's foolish in any sense of the word. The video should've compared their Levels, during certain points in time, for example in Rikarisu, Windport, Beast Forest, Millis, Shirone, Orsted fight etc. But it's just confusing this way. The thing the pushed me over the edge was their combatative strength level at the Orsted rematch. Yes, Eris has grown very very strong, but she is nowhere near Rudeus at that point. Rudeus in his Magic Armor Mk. 1 forced Orsted to draw his blade and made him go all out, otherwise he would've not been able to end the fight, with some mana left in him. The guy didn't even think about drawing his sword against the Water God Reida, and Eris wasn't even able to defeat Reida's pupil Isolte, much less Reida herself. The only reason Eris even got a hit on Orsted was because the latter held back massively. He didn't use the real Sword of Light, just a rather fast swing, since he was anticipating Eris to be on a similar level to the Eris he met in previous loops. That version of Eris never reached the rank of Sword King and wasn't ever able to counter a real Sword of Light. Thinking that Eris (Boreas) Greyrat was still a needed figure for Ariel to ascend the throne of Asura, Orsted probably just used a attack that would render the previous Eris out of the fight, but not on death's door and after that he would've probably just finished Rudeus. Eris never in her life surpassed the capabilities of Rudeus in his M-A Mk. 1. Change my mind

As you said Rudeus at the end would be stronger than Eris without using any armor, but in a 1 v 1 it would totally depend in the distance they are at and if Rudeus is using his armors. The problem with Rudeus is that he can't use touki so even if he is probably the 2º-3º better magic user alive in the LN he still could lose in a fight easily because his body is not magical or have protection of any kind. When he use his armors he can fight agains Orsted (even if he was obviuslly gonna lose) and that makes him someone to fear. At the End of the LN Rudeus without armor is maybe top 10 stogest creature and using armor he is defenetly the 7 great power. We also have to remember that when the final battle ends Rudeus is 24 so he have a long time to train, and his strongest magic is used once in all the LN (the gravity Magic) or even the "nuclear magic" he uses agains Orsted so I really think Rudeus in his peak would be 2º-3º strongest creature alive (using his armor), we have to remember that he can Improve his armors too and Atofe said that using his armor he is at God Class mele lvl (the higher).

no way eris was as strong as rudy at the time of the 2nd fight vs orsted. Rudi literally made the strongest man on the world use all of his magic power and damaged him a lot in melee fight, whilst eris just held back a severely wounded swordsman with no magic left at all.
