I love how holy magic is portrayed in the series. It is not a power bestowed by a god but the faith for the one they believe in whether they be holy beings or not

What the anime never told you was how Shuna got this powerful suddenly. It’s due to Rimuru’s ascension to Demon Lord status, in which everyone named by him is given a gift, like Shion’s Master Chef ability. In Shuna’s case, she is basically able to perform any form of magic, making her the most OP mage in Rimuru’s group!
