Hwy 401 wrong way crash: Pursuing officers lost sight of suspect vehicle, new report reveals

We are learning more details from Durham Regional Police about officers pursuing a robbery suspect resulting in a fatal wrong way crash on Highway 401 in April.

In a report made to Durham police, findings show officers lost site of the vehicle as the chase dragged on.

It ended in a collision that killed a three-month old child and his two grandparents.

The 21-year-old driver of the vehicle also died at the scene.

    The criminal is the at fault party here. Police shouldn't be blamed. This is also on the hands of the government officials that have allowed for a international student with a criminal record to stay here.
