  • I loved doing this interview with Gordon! I hope you all enjoyed it! Gordon has designed some iconic cars over the years; which is your favourite? Road & race! 👇
  • I have to say this has been my favorite interview ever. Mr. Murray is one of those incredible people who just get on with it and do it.
  • @Suprahampton
His passion for quality & precision engineering is intoxicating & he explains it with such ease

I've listened to interviews with Gordon on and off for about 30 years. I could still listen to him talk all day about cars, engineering and his rationale in design. His accounts of his personal and professional relationships are just as fascinating to me. Thanks again, Jodie!
  • I could listen to Gordon for hours. He really explains the most complex things in a way that can be understood and enjoyed. Great job as always

This episode was fantastic, I could listen to Gordon all day. A chat like this with Christian von Koenigsegg would be a great one for the future.

After seeing many interviews with the Professor , this one gave me goosebumps & a lump in my throat at times. Gordon Murray is one of my heroes as well whom I greatly admire for many reasons. This was a very relaxed chat to listen to with some really nice extra details to Gordon's back story and watching this has made my day 🤗, Thank you Jodie and Gordon. I cannot wait till you go back to drive T.50 & T.33 in the future. Singling out a favourite is difficult as all of Gordon's creations are amazing but Favourite Road car : Mclaren F1, Rocket and upcoming T.50/T.33, Race cars: F1 GTR .

  • Fantastic job, Jodie! Gordon is one of my heroes too. You didn't miss anything. First class. Did he promise you a drive for us in either the T50 or T33??😀

It's very motivating to see that even in his late 70's 'Gordon has drive, enthusiasm and plans for the future. Most people by the time they hit 45 are burnt out and just thinking of retirement. This interview has motivated me to keep going..

We, Car Lovers, Design Addicts, and Art laden Souls are so uncomfortably saturated with bloggers and vloggers who seem oblivious to the fact that just as musicians in the early days of Jazz needed to understand the essential importance to develop 'a sound', one cannot draw us into a pool that repetitively produce the same images, pretending the car is rare, because they failed to be there when it mattered. Your more scholarly approach, brings us back to that connoisseurship of car brand, names and types, where me meet the builders and the markets instead of being brainlessly walked through car configurations and accessorizing that, lacking a sense of true aesthetics, are getting lost in new money details that will always fail at celebrating true car design history. Thank you so much!

Well, you've done it yet again...I was so absorbed with GM's life story (so far), I felt like I was there in the room. Where did that hour go? One cannot be anything other than in awe of such an inspirational man. Thanks to you as always.
  • From humble begings to true legend, the future looks very interesting, brilliant episode love the interviews ❤️
  • @jn904
One of the best interviews he ever gave. Thank you so much.
  • @3yourself
Truly amazing interview. This is one of those interviews that I know I’ll listen to again and again.
  • Remember meeting mr Murray when I was 11, back in 1987 at a neighbours house. I’d been a massive F1 fan for a few years and I remember my parents asking me if I knew who he was on the way round. He was ace, humouring an 11 year old kid on a rare Sunday off! Very humble guy and will always remember meeting him. Kudos to the guy as he clearly still has great taste in shirts and very humble. F1 all the way for road, though can’t wait to hear what his new cars are like - race car wise, couldn’t choose between F1 cars but the F1 Le Mans car was amazing story. Jodie, really enjoyed this interview, you’re channel is really going from strength to strength.
