So happy to hear more from Andy! He's a true treasure with so much to share and teach! It's a privilege to ride along with him (and you!) in this extraordinary car...thank you!😊
  • Le Mans 88 with Andy’s win in the XJR9 was just my 2nd visit to the 24H, but that win changed my life! Over 35 years later, I’ve been to every 24H bar 3 since and bought a property opposite the Hotel de France, so Le Mans is now my home. Thanks for the inspiration Andy 👍❤️🙏

This episode definitely goes into my 'Best of KiaSS' list...Andy comes across as such an unassuming man, but clearly a dedicated and true professional.
  • What a dream come thrue for Andy Wallace working for Jaguar, McLaren and Bugatti !! Bugatti and Michelin made the machine doing it's thing on that test road in Germany going well thank God ! Great interview by Kidd in a Sweet Shop!

This was by far the best car interview I've ever watched. You made us feel like we were in the car with you. Fantastic! You've got a subscriber for life.

Andy is brilliant, just love him. His knowledge about this side of the automotive world is second to none, and also not obnoxious and seems to be thankfully humble, also what a pleasure it is to have cars like this.

Andy is a wonderful guy, I met him when he was driving for the Panoz team in the American LeMans Series.

What a brilliant man Andy Wallace is! I remember him winning the F3 championship in '86 before his sportscar career. Always a racer! Many thanks for this wonderful video Jodie ❤

Goodness me! I can remember Captain Slow doing about 250mph-ish, and finding it "easy". But the next 50mph? The gyroscopic effect of the wheels overrides the suspension geometry? There's a +200kg of lift at the front? Exactly what you want - not! - when you're already doing 250mph and then the handling characteristics start getting strange. Just goes to show; there's still the need for the human talent. It's not all just numbers and computers; some has to go and deal with "weird" when already operating in unknown territory. Andy Wallace (and his fellow drivers) are really quite something! And I the car too. The fact that it hadn't topped out at Vmax is also quite astonishing. Thanks Jodie - that's one of the best, most revealing insights into his trade that I've heard, thank you for bringing it to us!

What a world we live in, to get to see people do things like this with a car. Even having the road to do it on with reasonable safety is amazing by itself. Really nice to get to hear the story first hand from Andy.
  • What an interesting guy and incredible career. Not the only Wallace to be a test driver, the late great Bob Wallace was responsible for testing and developing some serious machinery at Lamborghini!
  • What an unassuming gentleman Andy is! Great interview Jodie! ❤️

Never seen that man smile more than when he’s riding shotgun with you. You guys coulda been in a VW Beetle his grin would still be ear to ear. Thanks Sweets
  • What a top guy, you relaxed him and pulled off a great interview. Stay safe.
  • What a wonderful setting to interview Andy Wallace being, above all, such a gentleman. His explanation of how the Bugatti's handling changes "above 285 miles per hour" blew me away.. Also Jodie, I loved watching - and listening - as you rocketed up to... speed! Amazing interview. Amazing car.
  • You just want to listen to the stories Andy Wallace has got to tell, he's such a good story teller with the intricate details! And Jodie being such a good conveyer of those great stories!! Can't wait to see what Andy does next with Bugatti-Rimac!!
  • Thankyou Jodie, great to hear Andy's backstory and the details of that epic record run. He's humble and easy to listen to. You did well to drive that Bugatti and interview as you did too.
  • Fantastic interview Jodie! Doing the fastest interview in the world with the fastest man in the world, brilliant!
  • Working for @classicdriver, I've been honoured to experience 0-328km/h with Andy in the Chiron Super Sports at last year's Passione Engadina, as well as completing a 270km rally of The Alps chasing him driving a Type 35 while in a Type 51. Andy is one of the most welcoming, comforting gentlemen I've ever had the privilege of meeting and having dinner with! This is a wonderful interview, you asked all of the questions I wish I had the time to!
