We Sailed Our Capri Cyclone 13 for the First Time in 5 Years!

The last time we had this boat out on the water, we almost sank it due to some unexpected weather! That was about 5 years ago, and we had to repair our "Gumby Cat" after the fact. And then we moved to a desert, lol. Now we finally live somewhere with water again, so of course we had to take her out! All things considered, it went quite well!

These are so much fun. Is more exhilarating than my weekend cruiser sailboat. 5 knots feels like flying

Those are super-light winds....if you don't see whitecaps or chop over 1 foot high it's likely 5-8 MPH. Boat like that are made to heel...

I had an orange and green Capri Cyclone and loved it.... looking back on things I should have kept the boat and got rid of the wife! 🙄🤨🙈🙈🙈

Nice little boat! Is the water really cold? Just curious why you are so worried about a capsize. Should be really quick and easy for the two of you to get it right side up if it were to go over, shouldn’t it?

Maybe do your rigging and de-rigging on the trailer in the rigging area next time. Have some courtesy to other boaters instead of taking up a whole ramp doing your darn rigging! Geez dude.
