The only two men that were able to defeat the GOAT absolutely battling it out like gladiators. Loved this fight. One of my favorites to watch.

Matt Serra was underrated, would've loved to see 5 rounds of this

    When 5’9 was a big welterweight. Now that’s a bantam weight 😂

I love Matt Sara. The guy pulled off the most improbable, completely unpredictable upset in UFC history when he defeated GSP...

Man that fight was way better than I remember it. But Matt definitely won.

what a deadly combination matt hughes vs matt serra and steve mazzagati
  • Matt Serra is extremely underrated. Yes, he produced the greatest upset ever. And yes, they were losses to Penn and Hughes, but the man had two very, very good fights with the other welterweight greats of his time, outside of GOAT GSP, and I don't think that gets appreciated enough. Honestly, it makes GSP's utter one sided domination of him in the rematch even more impressive considering his much, much closer fights with Penn and Hughes.
  • Use to love watching the UFC during these years, still do but this was a golden era. Matt Hughes is the man!

I love watching these old fights, it's crazy to see how much the game has changed
  • Goldberg: He dropped him with a big right hand! Rogan: It was a headbutt Goldberg: AHHHH 😂 Classic

It's always nice to see fighters show respect to one another after the fight. You can tell that they impressed each other.
