  • In case anyone's wondering, this song by Os Tincoãs has lyrics that relate to typical afro-brazilian religions, in this case, candomblé. It is a yoruba-based religion hundreds of years old which arrived in Brazil in its colonization process. Names like "Iansã" (also known as Oyá), "Xangô" and "Yemanjá" are some of the most well-known orixás (Orisás), as they are called. They are mystical, powerful figures in yoruba religions, including candomblé and umbanda (a brazilian religion founded in the 20th century). It is indeed a song with a lot of cultural power into it, and it is really worth getting deeper into this topic.
  • Sometimes I feel that music finds you, and does exactly what you need it to do. This is so beautiful I wish I had it on Vinyl
  • I accidentally found this song while searching for another song. I couldn't find the song I was looking for, but I'm very, very happy that I found this beautiful song. Hello from Turkey! 🇹🇷 🇧🇷
  • This song was based in candomblé music, candomblé is a religion with african origin and came to Brazil with the slaves who were brought here by the portugueses, If u guys like It, know that this masterpiece is basecaly created by africans and afro-brazilians, enjoy our culture, It is much more than samba music, and Sorry for the terrible english
  • I was extremely depressed today and my spirit felt broken. This helped breathe life back into me and revive my dying flames for life.please do not stop making spiritual powerful music that returns joy and strength to those fighting to find joy , peace and strength in a chaotic and often treacherous world.

  • For those who don't know this song is based on a chant derived from african religious rituals. The musicality is on another level here.
Ficou lindo demais. Os Tincoãs eternamente fantásticos.
