Here are examples of how the Hilux Champ can be customized further for different purposes. https://youtu.be/UMrhULQM5_E

These would sell so well in the USA
-
I'd rather have this than any of the pickup trucks that are on sale in the US market today.
-
I wish I could buy two where I live in the united states. These bare bones capable work trucks look perfect for what I'd want.
-
Can't wait to own one of these in 25 years. Love living in the land of the free!
-
For farms, markets, towns, local commiuting, small and some big business, this Champ it's excellent!! And there's also a Mini Land Cruiser on the way, to compete with the Suzuki Jimny. Can't wait for it!
-
I wish these came to America. We could finally afford something. Cars and trucks are too expensive here for most of us.
-
Really good review, but waaay too many "Thaiautonews" transitions. Having said that, Toyota would sell every one in the US. Lots of people want an affordable basic truck, and that bed is perfect.
-
I LOOOVE everything about this truck! Toyota, please bring these to Mexico!
-
That's what tradies need in Australia and New Zealand. Nice work horse.
-
I want this more than any truck on the US market. This thing is great and I am so mad it isn't available here
-
Wish these were coming to Australia 😢

I saw one today in downtown Pattaya. I really like the look of these. I suspect I will see a lot more of these on the roads in the coming weeks/months. Great video!
-
I like it a LOT! I think the little 2.4L diesel suits this truck well. I like what what I see a lot for the price, I don't think the interior is bad at all considering that the most important things are reliability and capability. As for the basic styling, I LOVE IT! We live in an era of overly fancy trucks, this is a tough looking basic truck and I like it for it.

If this came to the USA with some minor updates for under 20k heck even 25k it would be the best selling truck with many fleets changing over. for the price of a f150 or work van you get at least 2. Here in South Florida k trucks are being used by more construction companies where they can. Main reason is its does the job at a great price, easy maintenance and easy repair
-
Toyota should make a global model, South Africa is thirsty for a pick up like this. Especially for commercial use.
-
No Frills, No BS work ute. These would sell like hotcakes in Aus as trade fleet vehicles and for apprentices. i hope they get here.

Thank you so much for this video😊

Thanks for making us English speakers a very well made video about the champ. I can't help thinking these are exactly what we need here in USA. The cheapest tacoma is about $35,000 or Bt1.28 million but we never see those at dealers. Most dealers have models from $40,000 to $50,000. It wasn't that long ago when Toyota sold basic pickups here for affordable prices. The current tacoma prices aren't affordable. I like the look of the champ with bigger offroad tires. Some things like power mirrors and buckets for the taillights would be nice but would cause the price to go up. And finally an affordable turbo diesel would be welcome here.

Great video, your English is really good and you make the video fun and interesting to watch
