When I first watched this I had no idea what he was talking about. Now with actual practice, it all makes sense. Keep shooting everyone!

I needed this 20 years ago!!! I’m picking up my cameras again and I don’t think I’ve ever really understood this! I’ll be watching this several times 🤣

As a photo 101 instructor I know that everyone learns a different way and at a different pace. I've just emailed all my students to begin viewing these. Mark Wallace is understandable, the script doesn't go in circles and, uses an accessible vocabulary.
    Thanks!

This is one of the best explanations of the 3 elements of picture taking. I just bought a camera and was looking for an explanation of these elements. I really appreciate his explanation of what is the most important one to set first. It depends and that was a big help. Thanks

I’m a self-taught photographer and this video is amazing. Great way of keeping it technical and specific without over-complicating anything. You broke down the terminology and purpose of everything very well. You were easy to understand and follow along. Referring this to friends who ask me any photography questions lol :)
