I've bought a lot knock-off lego sets and some have been pretty good and greatly priced........but most of the time knock-offs can just be slapped together garbage

In place like Hong Kong China, lego's prices is ridiculously high. A minifigure with the price of a dinner is not affordable for everyone.

I have had fake Lego in 2000s. It costed between 1$ to 8$ for common sets and up to 40$ for most luxurious. Actually those old sets were way more interesting than recent official ones in stores. Though I disapprove faking product, that Lego made my childhood.

Gudi's latest sets are based on older Lego sets, while it seems the Police Station is the only independent design I'm seeing here.

tbh you should've compared the knock-offs to their actual Lego counterparts instead of the newest themes, all three are based off old lego sets

You gotta buy the Republic Gunship knockoff. It’s amazing if you don’t want to pay $799 for a new one. The mini figures aren’t the best but the build itself is very close

when I was still 7 my parents didn't know about real lego sets or knock off sets they just bought the cheap ones which were knock offs

The knockoffs are made off of older lego sets. I have the original lego of the space station. They are all from the period between 2010 and 2012 I think.

I love Lego, and don't have any knock-off sets. But that purple haired woman with the machine gun in the knock-off police set is something else.

Expensive but literally worth it with the detailed builds.

It's cool how the LEGO set had an SLS-like rocket while the fake one had a Chinese Long March rocket. I think the LEGO set was better, but the Long March looked cooler as a LEGO rocket.

The blue of the police station from gudi is actually the blue you have in chinese plice stations so it actually does fit

My favorite thing about off brand lego that is actually high quality is that the studs don't have the ugly lego logo on them, it makes the studs look much more clean
