Iβve made Scarlettβs green dress, and let me tell you, itβs a trip and a half. Everything is three layers: a silk tissue taffeta lining layer, a white silk organza and the printed organza on top. Which means the 300 inch circumference of the skirt turns into almost 900 inches to hem. And those ruffles! Over 1200 buttonholes. So much work, and such an iconic dress. I love wearing it

In Clue: The Movie, Ms. Scarlet has a dark green dress that almost looks black in some shots. It's quintessential 80's, with the off shoulder straps and sheetheart neckline (even though the film is set in the 50's). I don't think it necessarily has historical significance or left a lasting impression on costuming as a whole. But I love it. I think Leslie Ann Warren looks fabulous and dark green is a color that always catches my eye.
