I wasn’t a daily watcher of sports media until around 2011. I know former player having guest spots on shows is not a new thing by any means. But I wonder if this was one of the earliest times of “new media”. Not just a player doing a guest spot, but a player bringing the real behind the curtain stuff, and doing it a clear and professional manner.

Everything is great and groovy when you are winning and getting titles but when u are losing, oh now he's garbage. Just like any other player in any sport, once they have game film on you and adjust to your strengths and weaknesses, it's up to you as the player and your coaching staff to adjust as well because more they see and know your tendencies.
