Top Flight DC3 maiden flight. OS40FP's. fixed gear, 4.3 kg. Lousy landing, forgot to allow more time for the heavy model to react to the flare.

    This is a model of the first plane I worked on when I started my career at QANTAS in 1970.

    I wonder how many modellers do a stall test on their new plane, to see how it reacts and fix any poor characteristics. Not many, I suspect.
