Too many doctors remained quiet and in the process left their oaths behind. Each one that tried to push (bully) you into taking it.

I guess you could say I've fired a couple of doctors. I reported one doctor to clinic admin he was so unprofessional and because I found multiple other patients had made similar complaints on social media. There was an unintended consequence with a different doc - I changed to a different doctor when the one I was seeing was becoming difficult to get appts. That docs admin sent me a letter to ask why I changed docs and if I would complete a review of my experiences - a month later a notice went that doc was retiring.

I’m so glad I watched this video. I’m going through this with one of my specialist and I will be looking for another.
  • Getting ready to terminate mine my next appointment. Going to have a termination meeting just like I do at work. He’s my employee, and he way beyond failed expectations and I will definitely address those.

I had a doctor that had his face down in his computer the whole time never looked at me. I didn’t go back.

Such a great topic Dr Eric and so needed! I have encountered this a few times, and even to the point that I thought well, maybe the problem is me, but each time was for the various reasons that you've mentioned. But the possible bad effect of this is that after dealing with this, especially if it's more than once, it can leave us as the patient feeling so frustrated that we just ignore going back to the doctor for a while. I think as the patient, that it can become so frustrating because in most situations, we are seeking treatment because we are ill and concerned, not to mention possible constraints of time and costs, and then to be met with treatment that feels vague and non thorough or non-attended, and even unexplained, can leave the patient feeling very lost and frustrated. I guess the most important thing we can do as patients, is to remain diligent and proactive in the search for quality care, and hopefully find a doctor that is the best fit for us. Thanks 😃

Thanks, Dr. Eric...just did that today.., Dr did not listen or let me finish a sentence....an M Deity approach, and just more medication, without letting me tell them what was going on. I fired them. Off to find someone else.
  • I just fired two doctors because they are more like dictators than helping to treat my conditions.

Yep mine tried to fear me into life Meds...that Was 30 yrs ago. Here I am 🫡🫡🥂🥂 drug free. R.I.P. I Outlived my Dr🙏🏾🙏🏾
  • I went to my well woman visit some years ago, and one the OBGYN seem to be top rough two years a row. In 2018 at my well woman visit in the 2nd going to her she was rough when removing a pylop at my checkup. The following year of 2019 made an unpleasant comment about one question: What it is this in my pelvic area region? Especially after having some complications with my female health issues that now I'm finally getting something done about it as of this year with OBGYN surgery specialists to remove a fibroid and also to treat heavy and prolonged menstruation issues. Of course I have lost weight since 2019.

Moved to New area, tried to get continuity of basic medical/ disability needs i easily received from other doctors. My list of 6 basic needs (signature, daily medication, walker, etc) were ignored completely. What exactly do i need to do besides ask for all my records when i fire her?? Do i revoke my hippa??

I really love the medical gaslighting of this guy, you may need to fire your doctor because they're too busy with covid, as if you could get a hold of them and see the doctor the next day before covid?
