You forgot about the PCVR stage, when players get excited to play PCVR Games such as Boneworks only to see that thier PC isnt VR-Ready and haves 2 fps.

Trust me. When you have friends with VR the boredom stage NEVER appears.
  • I feel old watching these videos.. I've been playing VR since 2016. I've tried almost every headset under the sun, owned many, and have played A LOT of games.. the best advice I could give is find friends to play with, preferably people you're already close with in the real world and play together. Find multiplayer and co-op campaign games that you can play together and I promise it will make the whole experience so much more fun. My best friend and I played games like Echo VR and Arizona Sunshine together in the early days and it truly made the whole experience so much better. Playing those games alone would've been fun, but not nearly as fun as having my best friend in there with me. The best experiences are the ones that are shared.

I really can't wait to see where VR goes in the future. I've never owned my own headset, but i've used my nephew's Quest 2. I've been a fan of SAO for the longest time (you know where this comment is going, so i won't even-) whether we get that advanced or not, i'm excited for VR's future.

went through literally all of these IN ORDER too. maybe not the last one, i'm addicted and will probably be buying the quest 3 with FBT. the quest 2 might be one of the greatest things in terms of technology put out in the past few years. giving the general public easy access to VR experiences without needing a crazy powerful computer or a lot of knowledge on how VR works is just such an amazing thing.

I disagree with nobody ever playing First Steps It’s a GREAT introduction to VR and beyond that the shooting mini-game is just fun

This video was way better than I realized going in. It seemed a lil gimmicky but I gotta be honest, your right. The last one hit me hard because I found myself showing VR to all my friends over the past year or so, we’d smoke some pot and I’d show them all the best games- blade and sorcery, H3VR, Saints and Sinners! me and my boy even took turns on Into the Radius runs all summer and had a blast. Having your own headset is worth it, but bringing your friends into the fold is top tier. Now about half or so of my friends have headsets so every once in a while we can hop in a contractors or gorilla tag game and have so much fun just enjoying gaming like we are kids again
  • for me, my "boredom" stage was more of a forced break for almost a year due to my headstrap dying. Comeback hit harder than playing for the first time, skill increased, jumped right into Sidequest also, and now I'm pretty sure I'm at my peak enjoyment
  • @Giga_quacks
I got a vr 3 years ago and when I got it I played it everyday I never got bored I played all day long probably an unhealthy amount of of time
  • @xenru
Once you've gone through all of those stages get a PC and see how different the experiences are in every single game, all you need is to be captivated by the VR world and i'm sure you will never want to truly quit.

I use the index but I think it applies to it as well lol. I’m forever stuck in the “comeback” stage as I’ve had my years of playing countless hours in VR but nowadays I always come back to it once in a week or two, I just can’t have enough of how incredible vr is and since I’ve got a new beast pc it is even funnier to play
  • @ChunkyRanger7
Bro is so accurate I’ve been in all the stages and put my granddad with dementia on epic roller coasters and he said “oh shoot I think I might just throw up”
  • I was practically raised on vr and it has really impacted my life, I have met so many cool people, made so many friendships, real life and online because of it.
  • @LMisHere
Don’t forget the VRChat stage that never ends 💀
  • @scoped6446
Comeback stage is so true. Every like 3 months I remember I have a headset then just pick it up and play my old favourites religiously for like a week but then get bored and buy a new game or repeat the cycle
  • @Zoey_Zone
No mention of the "turning it into a pcvr headset" stage, honestly going from standalone to pcvr was such a big improvment
  • @goob101
I've had my quest for 4 years now, and I can confirm that this list is accurate. There are a few other stages that you didn't mention that people have already mentioned in the comments like PCVR, and mods. But other than that, I have been through each and every one of these stages ever since I got my quest. For the last one though, I didn't give it up to a younger sibling because I don't have one. I just stopped playing it, partly because I got bored of it again, and it is pretty much on it's last legs right now. It has horrible stick drift, and is extremely laggy and glitchy. I can definitely say this though, it served me very well and I am glad I got experience it for myself.
  • @WompieTunes
One last stage, and not many people go through it. Stage 11: The PC VR Stage After doing absolutely everything the Quest has to offer standalone, you decide to break down the walls into the world of PC VR. Better graphics, better games, the only limit is your imagination (and your wallet)
  • @notoro
That gorilla tag description was ridiculously on point
