This is why I am NEVER going cave diving. Crawlers or no crawlers, the thought of getting trapped miles underground is horrifying.
  • @fromgravity
the actors playing the crawlers dicking around made me feel a lot less scared thank you

"I'm an English teacher, not fucking Tomb Raider" is definitely my favourite line in this aha
  • As someone from Appalachia I can totally confirm that this film nails the atmosphere of how the mountains feel sometimes. There’s something oppressive that you can’t quite place.

The cave system feels soo real in this movie, it's truly a testament to the lighting, set design and shot direction. Knowing how it was done actually lends to the brilliance of the final result; which isnt always the case in my opinion

14:53 very few people seem to realize that this particular crawler that attacks Sarah is a child. It has a tiny body and a much higher pitch voice that is more child like. And the female crawler right after is it’s enraged mother.
  • it seems like the more the group of women descend into the cave the more their friendships begin to unravel and I think the monsters are personification of all the secrets that are in that friend circle that had to slowly be revealed to the surface

I love when movies show the actors having fun behind the scenes, it just makes the movie better knowing everyone was having fun and wasn’t stressed out the entire time

“I included the jump scares in this video” I feel betrayed but at least I was warned
  • @milozimben
Sarah's scream after realizing she just killed a family is probably the moment in this movie that will stick with me the most

11:17 The Crawler actors doing their nails and the whole "Ping-Pong ball song" is pretty hilarious..
  • @songbird6414
The crawler actors singing and dancing is the most wholesome thing I’ve ever seen.
  • horror movies should add bloopers at the end of movies so people can actually sleep

Honestly going into this movie blind was such a treat. I thought the movie was going to be a survival story after they get trapped in the caves underground. THAT was terrifying enough. Then they added in monsters stalking them and I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time. 10/10 would highly recommend watching it if you haven't. Great strong female characters too.

I swear James A Janisse is the greatest name ever given to anybody on this planet, it’s so catchy
  • @walkofnails2923
Great movie, but I cannot watch it again. Forget the monsters, the terrifying tightness of the caves and the claustrophobia is too much. I don’t understand how people can go underground or even worse, underwater, and try and squeeze through tight spaces when they have no idea what’s on the other side or if there is an other side. Nope nope nope
