Debby Update! Flooding Threat Continues, Tornado Outbreak Possible!

Debby has weakened to a Tropical Depression this afternoon as it continues to move north across North Carolina. Debby will continue to produce considerable flooding across much of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast tonight and tomorrow as 2-6 inches of rain are expected. An overlooked threat is the tornado threat as Debby has already produced multiple tornadoes which has resulted in at least one fatality across North Carolina. A tornado outbreak is possible today through tomorrow across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Please move to higher ground if you live in flood prone areas and seek shelter in an interior room or basement, if possible, if a Tornado Warning is issued.
