Conduire dans les vallées verdoyantes wallones avec ce superbe son. Quel plaisir ❤

My favorite Doors song. I like all of their songs.... but as a Truck Driver for 20 years, driving at night, with this song... in the rain... damn. Played it over and over again. Got me through many, MANY shifts. Thanks, Guys.

This song scared me as a kid on a rainy night drive with my Dad. The tinkling of the keyboard along with the rain and thunder, that driving bassline, "...there's a killer on the road." So full of moody foreboding, I was sure we wouldn't make it to where we were going. Gives me chills to this day.

I'm 44 now. I've been listening to this since I was 14 I can't imagine my life without Jim. His Words are inspirational.
  • Easily one of the greatest songs ever recorded. Pure perfection. Perfect melody. Perfect lyrics. Perfect vocals and unbelievably perfect musicianship.
  • I love the Doors and their 🎶 🎵. It's so sad that Jim Morrison is part of the 27 Club. I can only imagine what kind of music he would be making today. I'm blessed that I got to enjoy the music 🎶 🎵 of the Doors while they were around. RIP,Jim Morrison. You will truly be missed. Your music was part of my youth and even in my older years. Your music 🎶 🎵 was really amazing 🎉🎉

Just turned 73 and this sounds as fresh as the day they released it. Genius players all. Jim had an IQ of 150. It shows in his lyrics. The consumate poet who had to die young. The best ones do

Today is the 80th birthday of James Douglass Morrison, December 8, 1943. Happy birthday poet! I hope you found calm and happiness. One day I hope I can hear you sing and recite your poetry. ❤🙏

My first album I bought at 14 years old in 1974 and favorite Doors song forever ,and best stoner song of all time !
  • Jim Morrison has a voice like no other... He has a voice like a God!!! That's what made me love this Band!! Much Respect especially for The late Jim Morrison May he rest in peace!!🤘🤘🙏
  • One of The Doors' very best for sure. What a mood Riders sets. It's a mystical ride with Captain Morrison at the helm and his so very talented musicians on deck making the ship cut across the stormy water. 👍👍👍👍👍

This song is an absolute highlite of The Doors and unfortunately Jimmy's goodbye song. Really miss him. It's unfair he left us so soon with still so much to give.

The Doors miluju už od 14let. Té nádherné hudbě roky jen přidávají na kráse. A dalším posloucháním bude krásnět dál. Díky Jime

I remember when I was 11 (1971) riding from Seattle to LA to stay with my cousins for a month. I 1st heard it on the radio in the dark somewhere in northern CA. I remember it like it was yesterday. It played constantly on the radio & gave the entire vacation a surreal but very cool feeling! A very dark, adult feeling.
  • Still sounds ahead if it’s time 50 years later. Remarkable piece of engineering and top notch musician performances from the entire band.
  • @juannavarro5487
Beautiful and melancholy way to say goodbye. Morrison shows his soul. Echoes of solitude. Morrison would start his last tango in Paris.
