Steve leaves a heartwarming message for all of his old fans. Meatcanyon: yes but how do I ruin this?
-
That ending felt like a car accident, a sudden destructive halt.
-
It's honestly impressive how you were able to make the audience's emotions about this dog do a complete 180. Going from repulsed, disgusted, irritated to heart broken and empathetic in about 2 seconds is incredible
-
3:13 the fact blue's tail is wagging in the freaky cartoon hallucination world is sad because the real dog Blue was probaly happy and wagging her tail too.
-
Expectation: A silly monster twist on a beloved children's cartoon Reality: Depressed schizophrenic man has one of the worst mental breakdowns of his life, resulting to him murdering the last thing that loved him.
-
This evoked more emotion than actual Steve telling me he never forgot me.
-
I like how everyone’s yelling at Steve for clues, and the mailbox is just concerned about being filled to the brim with mail.
-
At the end, I finally realized it was about Steve, being mentally ill, and having schizophrenia the sad fact is is that he’s gonna have to deal with the dog being dead for the rest of his life looking at it from a real world perspective it’s really sad what mental illness does to people and their loved ones to

Fun Fact: Steve from Blue’s Clues revealed that one of the main reasons he left the show was because he was going bald, and he didn’t want that to happen on national television in front of his young fans
-
The vomit sounds were so realistic. I felt like I was in a restroom of a Long John Silvers. Incredible.
-
This hits different when you are sitting, home alone, with your dog sleeping in your lap.
-
I went from horrified to bawling real fast and I've never cried so hard so quickly after seeing a realistically drawn dead dog. I think anyone who has lost a dog knows this pain.
-
Blue was just trying to lead Steve to his schizophrenia medicine
-
Notice how blue never hurts him- it’s all in his head.
-
I had a psychotic break recently and this is exactly how it felt. Great job on accurately displaying a break in mental health!
-
Some people lose it in the shock of the ending but I keep thinking about this video. It is a true masterpiece in how obligations and responsibility, despite coming from a place of love and a source of strength, can also breed resentment and anger. This could be in a literal caretaking situation like what is shown or a metaphorical one, like Meatcanyon being forced to crank out cartoons to a gleeful audience unaware and uncaring of how the feels about his relationship with YouTube and creation in general. I haven’t found myself real red ring on a piece so often as this since I first watched lasagnacat’s pipe strip video which unironically changed my life. Thank you for your work Papameat!

Plot Twist: Blue was trying to give Steve a clue about his insanity.
-
Normally these parodies start normal and become corrupted over time, but there's something irritably more disturbing by having a demented scene turn into reality.
-
the silence after the madness ends is the hardest to endure

3:45 the way my jaw dropped
