  • I just posted your review on Facebook. Thank you! You understand what we were trying to do as a cast and crew. We put our hearts and souls into the film, so thank you for your appreciation and kind words. Thank you!

Holy shit, Ben’s transformation being delayed and he's worried about his pals is actually genius writing. Makes his sudden change just a bit more sad and shocking.

It's actually very endearing how despite how cheap this movie looks it's probably the only tonally and aesthetically faithful Fantastic Four film we've ever gotten (hopefully next year changes that). Even Doom here isn't completely butchered beyond belief and I actually love the costume and makeup design here. The suits are pure John Byrne and the Thing doesn't look or sound half bad
  • This is awesome. Thank you so much for making this wonderful exposé on the first Fantastic Four! Your views are spot on and are deeply appreciated. On the 30th anniversary the truth must be told and the film released. Here’s to the future my friend. Yours, Doctor Doom 🔥

I was just thinking how cool it would be to get another gutter space and hear Xavier discuss all the stuff going on with warner brothers, and then he casually dropped a 30 minute video about one of the most infamous comic book movies ever produced. What an actual legend this guy is
  • @RosePinkInk
The only movie of all time to even ATTEMPT Doctor Doom without trying to completely reinvent him
  • putting the Human Touch race music from Ultimate Spider-Man under the discussion of his final flight scene was genius.

Somewhere out there there’s a universe where this movie was not only officially released but got completed to its best quality, and in that universe we have an all-timer classic.
  • @StunsyGND
Y’know that last statement you made about a small cast and crew coming together to make something they believed in and felt earnestly about reminded me of what the Fantastic Four themselves stand for. There’s something beautiful about that.
  • @M567dk
You cannot help and feel bad for this cast and what they been through. Some part of me hopes that they will make a cameo appearance in Secret Wars.
  • @afierymess2307
"Footage Unrelated" yet describes how Madame Web went.
  • 1994 2005 2015 2025 Dang, if only it was released and a year later we could’ve had a reboot every 10 years
  • @OwenLikesComics
Great video! The way Eichinger lied to the cast and crew was so infuriating, but I'm glad in years since they've been able to showcase and celebrate the work they did. Also thanks for the shoutout ♥
  • @ToonamiT0M
If the actor for Doom doesn't like the way he sounds and wanted to redub it, maybe some dedicated fans can get him to rerecord the lines and edit them into the movies? A little work to smooth over a few VFX and this would be a nearly perfect film.

it’s such a shame that even as early as the 90s not only comic book movies but multitudes of films can be seen as tax write offs or legal loopholes in the eyes of big corporations. There are thousands people sacrificing sleep, family time, and personal engagements to contribute something to this beautiful art form and they just get treated so inhumane and like children. It’s so horrible that it continues to this very day
  • @Fletcher._art
I still stand by Roger Corman’s quote regarding million dollar movie budgets, where he says that a director should be capable of achieving their vision without having to spend over a million dollars and that there are better things we could be doing in society with that kind of money.
  • @TerraWispr
The poor cast... If only things had changed by 2024. Movies and shows are still being shelved, cancelled or removed from streaming for contract loophole or tax write-off reasons...
