I explore some of the best deals and hidden gems still available, while also testing how well the system holds up in 2024. Along the way, I uncover some surprising insights about backwards compatibility and the importance of preserving these classic games.

What do you mean the slim lost the ability to easily swap the hard drive? You just take the door off on the right side and pull the tab.

This is why Backwards compatibility is so important. It helps with game preservation.

When my brother got a PS3, he gave me his Xbox 360 Arcade as a hand-me-down. Both the Wii and 360 were both my life during the 7th generation.

360 slim for Xmas was the greatest gift I’ve ever received

$50 dollars for an inferior version of BO3 in 2024? Screw you, Activision.

When I was 10 I got the OG Black Xbox 360 Elite in 2009 MW2 and Halo 3 being my first games, nothing will ever top gaming like that time period, so glad I got to grow up with it!

Can't believe the 360 is as old now as the Atari 7800 was when the 360 came out. That's absolutely crazy!

'It's the worst version of Skyrim' Clearly you've never played the PS3 version

What I miss the most is being able to put a disc in and it being ready to play immediately not having to wait for it to download even after buying the disc version

The PS3, 360 and Wii era was gaming at its peak. We had so much creative innovation with franchises and alot of memorable classics from that console generation. It's thanks to the success of the 360 Sony actually had to step it up, because their $599 pricing for PS3 in 2006 made them come off as they tried to become the Apple of home consoles/gaming.

2:14 The original 20 GB version of the PS3 did not have Wi-Fi either.
