Speaking as an Irish woman who has had bowls of just mash and butter and salt almost every week (more than once a week too) I beg to differ. There are those of us out here who do LOVE mashed potato and if anyone tried to give me only 2 scoops they would be in big trouble lol Well done Adam, of course I had no doubt you would do this with no trouble at all

I don't feel like Beard needs to apologize for not being festive enough. I feel like he's always got kindness in his heart the whole year round. It's one of the things that keeps me coming back. I appreciate how sweet he is chatting to the people around him even if it could cost him the challenge. We love you Beard! Merry Christmas to you and your family! ❤

I do love how the whole cafe staff all got involved in helping you get settled in to the challenge.

All the driving and what some would call the minutiae you do is underrated. 4 hours driving to a challenge, almost burst your stomach with mash while being affable and funny to the staff, order dessert, then a 4 hour drive home. You deserve every like and sub Mr. Beard.

The diet coke joke never gets old no matter how many times beard says it 😂

This place knew the assignment. I love to see it when they have a sense of passion in what they do and in their challenge. Not like these places that intentionally sabotage or seemingly don't want people actually ordering the challenge meal. Hope this gets them a little boost in business.

The most impressive part to me is, he can do a 4-hour drive home without going into a food coma.

I always love seeing people's reactions when he asked what kind of desserts they have 😂
