And they want a cashless system 😅😅😅 What a curious company name: "Crowd - Strike" hm

The interesting thing is that there were two outages in parallel. Microsoft Azure experienced a partial outage completely unrelated to CrowdStrike. Then a couple hours later CrowdStrike pushed an update to all the windows machine their software is installed on. CrowdStrike’s update included a bad device driver which caused any windows computer it was installed on to crash and enter a boot loop. The nature of the issue means each computer needs to be manually fixed in-person.
  • Thank you for this information update on this matter. I am in Texas
  • All major US airlines were grounded overnight because of this tech issue, but the chaos will continue at least through today.

That’s no such thing like “cybersecurity outage” 😔.
  • Don't tell people it's a cyber attack or people will panic, never tell the truth

There was a solar flare which could be the cause or hackers could use that as cover.

What rookie updated the backup and primary systems before testing? I don't buy this story.
  • I’ve been following this story all night. All’s well in the Apple World, where I have my tech.
