Atlanta Airport Train Ride @ Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (4K)

Publicado 2016-08-09
We rode the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Train going from T to D. This 4K UHD video gives you an idea of what it is like. This airplane train goes very fast- certainly a helpful attribute for such a large airport as the ATL! We certainly recommend that you arrive 2 hours prior for domestic and 3 hours for international departures for this busy airport. Apparently this is a Bombardier Innovia APM 100 train (thanks to commenter isaghe for the info).

😂😂😂😂 its sooo funny it brakes and accelerates so violently that you can only see old people and kids flying arround
  • I have never flown through Atlanta’s airport without riding the plane train. But it honestly makes this airport enjoyable compared to many others.

I begged my parents a lot as a kid to go to the airport just to ride this train before all the security restraints put a ban on non-travelers getting past security. Now I get super excited when I go on trips just for this moment! Can't wait, got 2 more weeks to go.

I love trains in airports! It’s like driving a car in a mansion!

Nicest airport I been to and I been to like 20 U.S airports and 7 airports out the country.
  • That train is no joke. As a kid back in the 80s my siblings and I loved to ride it. We had the recording memorized by heart and I still recall most of it. Back when the snow/ice shutdown all of Atlanta (including the airport) my dad and I were stuck at Hartsfield all night after arriving from DFW. I hadn’t been on the train in years and figured we’d just ride around a few times as nothing but one McDonalds was open. Yeah...it was not the same ride. When the lady says to hold on you better listen! I would love to know how many broken bones and stitches have occurred on the plane train, especially drunks. They don’t have to worry about anybody sleeping on the little platforms or just riding for kicks like we did to kill time as kids! We were so happy to finally leave even though it took us 4 hours to get home to Marietta on the icy roads.

Thank you I was so paranoid about the tram as my layover is an hour and I wasn’t sure if that was long enough your video helped ease my anxiety

Fun fact. At the end of line, it will tell you to exit, and train is going out of service. Lights go out, goes into dark tunnel, but starts back where it started.
