The biggest impact is that amazing color drenching! The green has transformed it. It's brave and bold! Which, unfortunately I am not. With the butcher block counters ,its incredible! I like the white ceiling and window trim and farmhouse sink for contrast. The brass is gorgeous with that color. The color drench curtains are genius. There ,but not there. The view out the windows of walls of green trees is beautiful! Love the bold print color of the living room rug, with the leather chairs!!!!! Kind of a RL feel. But ,oh my goodness... my favorite is the little kitchen desk with that amazing stag head on the wall!!!!! Love, love , love!!!!

One thing is very obvious. The women in your family have great design sense...all different but all well done. One thing I love about this sister's home is all the real plants. Fake greenery just doesn't cut it for me. Other than the great look, it is calming to nurture plants and watch them grow.

It is nice that Jessica kept the solid oak cabinets and was not afraid to paint them. They are beautiful!

I absolutely love your sister's home! Green is one of my favorite colors and I recently painted my entire downstairs a sage green and just love it! Her artwork is amazing and her painting her kitchen cabinets has given me such inspiration for my tired old cabinets. I love her fireplace and the green couches are gorgeous! Beautiful home!!

WOW that' a lot of green, but it is tastefully done and gives a very calming vibe.

I have a 90 yr. old farmhouse on 80 acres. We've actually added leaded & stained glass windows into the walls, and added 2 built-in leaded glass cabinets in the dinning room.(They came from a 110 yr. house0 I found a old wavy glass door w/a window w/ a beautiful sunburst carvings that I use for a pantry door, I got a pantry decal from E-bay and it looks so charming. We re-vamped our kitchen fireplace and used a old pump organ for a top and it's beautiful & eye-catching, one of a kind. We installed a old claw foot bathtub, and used old bead board from a 150 yr. old church.
