The quality of this video is phenomenal. I've been struggling to find stories for beginners in Spanish that actually had beginner level vocabulary, and you speak slowly enough to be able to really hear each individual word. Why am I just finding this now. I have Listen to other videos for "beginners" and I don't understand enough to know what they are saying. I understood 90% of this and the words I didn't know where explained through the drawings pictures and context of the story. Finally a video for actual beginners that isn't spoken a million miles per hour.

My French teacher use to show us videos like this all the time. It brought my comprehension from 0 to intermediate super fast! So glad I could find these videos since I'm learning Spanish on my own now.

I use to teach English to Chinese children and have wanted a similar pace of study for me with Spanish. I am so impressed with Alma. And even though my Spanish is at about a 2 year old level right now, I was able to understand what was being said. Her speaking slowly makes me able to hear each word individually and she actually used basic vocabulary that is beginner friendly Also she draws the story which make it ever easier to be understood! Although my vocabulary is very very short I was able to understand most of the video without translation I’m truly thankful from the bottom of my heart to this amazing teacher I wish her the best and I’ll definitely keep her in my prayers Mucho gracias profesor, usted está perfecto

watching this masterpiece stoned asf. only did some hours in duolingo for a few months before. i am shocked to find out i can actually follow allong most of the story. this is crazy. also very well made video, thank you for all the good and helpful animations and the repetitions and explanations. makes it so good to understand for beginners
