Lowering blood pressure with losartan, the generic form of Cozaar, works as well as more expensive and widely advertised drugs. Many people ultimately need several different drugs to optimize blood pressure control. Generally this is due to inadequate attention to diet and exercise. Success in treating high blood pressure requires a low salt diet, generous servings or fruit, vegetables and nuts with elimination of simple carbohydrates.

Well I have been on it since October of last year and I only had side effects for a month, fatigue dry mouth I was thirsty and then it went away. The pill totally agrees with me now and it has balanced my blood pressure completely.
