2kki is simply a look in someone other than Mado's dreams. An underrated gem, not of a fangame, but as it's own thing.

It's hard to believe Yume 2kki is my favorite game of all time. I've played through classic RPGs like EarthBound and Chrono Trigger, experienced critically acclaimed masterpieces like Symphony of the Night and Super Mario RPG, and my favorite game is a fangame to an already niche horror title.

maybe it’ll sound silly but this exact mix means so much to me. i used to listen to it every night to fall asleep and it comforted me after anxiety/panic attacks. it also made me play yume nikki for the first time and it is now one of my favourite games of all time. it’s been a year since i discovered this mix and i’m so happy that i did. thank you. ^^

edit: it's 2024, i'm not in the best position in life, but in this playlist i always seem to find myself again. gravitating in uncertainty, but never truly lost. these songs have the power to calm you down lol. old comment: somehow 2kki had this rep in our circle as a YN ripoff trying to plaster too many cooks into the game. but in this case, they really put that liberty of freedom & expression to good use, it was wrong for us to judge it so harshly back then. now i listen to all of this music and feel at peace. the soundtracks here are much more melodic, and portrays its own game's maps very well :3 a great collab with many many people in it

Commenting again just to say that I've listened to this playlist like, at least 200 times. It never fails to make me feel so calm, and it's the perfect soundtrack to write and sleep to. Genuinely so thankful to have had this playlist with me these past 2 years <3

I've spent my Sunday morning doing a long walk. I love wandering around aimlessly while looking at my surroundings, thinking about stuff, enjoying the moment... This time, I've done it while listening to this entire playlist. With the calmness, the silence due to doing this early on a Sunday morning, it most certainly made this a nice experience. It made me feel at peace... There's still stuff going on in my life around me, but that moment, those hours of walking with this playlist in my ears... Those were my little adventure in my own little world, away from everything around me. Even though it was just for a little while... that felt good :)
