Ohio gets some very severe weather. Never forget Xenia! Wiped out. Take care, and make sure y'all have good shelter, and please, if you have a garage, keep your vehicle(s) in it. Love, ya'll, bigly!!!

sometimes garages and storage-units are not built to code...i remember renting on storage unit with some very questionable wood framing, inside of it...

The giant trees in my yard are still standing and we have power. Go Portage County!
  • Did FE send all their crews to Florida to help with Debby? Maybe we need to recall them.

I live in Houston, TX. In July a hurricane level 1 blew through quickly. Afterwards 2.5. MILLION people lost electricity. Some people were without electricity for 2 weeks. My electricity was out for 5 days. I live in an apartment so I do not have a generator. It was unbearable.

Trees need to be topped. Lack of maintenance is a cause of a lot of this damage.

LACK OF MAINTENANCE OF TREES. NO TREES SHOULD BE THIS TALL AROUND STRUCTURES. HAVE YOUR TREES TOPPED. TREES WEIGH MULTIPLE TONS.

A Cleveland area tornado is almost unheard of. Cincinnati. An article dated July 1 put Ohio at 63 tornadoes. In 2023 we had 60, prior to that the record was in 1992 for 62 tornadoes. We had warning again in SW Ohio I think the first Monday of August 2024, but nothing touched down. In April here were 8 in one night just here in SW Ohio. In May I heard we were ranked #5 in states with the most tornadoes. We've turned into tornado alley.
