Three people were shot outside a gathering for a funeral Tuesday evening in Seattle's Central District, according to Seattle police.

Police said witnesses told officers they were concerned that some “retaliation” would occur at the funeral. Hours later two men and a woman were shot.

At 4:38 p.m., officers responded to multiple reports of multiple people shot near 26th Ave S. and South Norman St. When police arrived, they found a 30-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks.

Shortly after, the Seattle Fire Department arrived and provided her with medical treatment. The 30-year-old woman was then taken to Harborview Medical Center, where she was reported to be in "serious but stable" condition.

While officers were investigating, two private vehicles arrived at HMC with two more victims. One of the victims was a 30-year-old man who was shot in the right thigh and reported to be in serious condition. The other victim was a 26-year-old man who was shot in the head and reported to be in critical condition.

And about 2/3s of you didn't vote, and over 70% of you who did voted for more of this. What else can you say?
  • It's only going to get worse if Ferguson becomes governor, and I am pretty sure he will. Washington elections are dominated Democrats, and Democrats don't seem to understand that the Attorney General (currently Bob Ferguson) is the guy responsible for law enforcement. The idea that this guy made it through the primary is baffling. Classic example of failing up.
  • If the 13 per centers wern't in the United States the police departments in this country would have to lay off half theor officers because they would have nothing to do.
