Transformers RISE OF THE BEASTS Beast Mode OPTIMUS PRIME Review

I don’t think this will appear in the movie, but still it is an interesting concept.

Reminds me a lot of the second look Optimus had in Prime Beast Hunters

There is no doubt in my mind that I am definitely getting this. Makes me nostalgic for the scale and play features of the leader classes from my childhood. Great review and great toy IMHO. 👍

For me it's pretty cool!! Especially cause We haven't seen since years a Transformers figure with lights and sounds, and this one actually transforms too!!! I definitely will Try to get him ❤💙

I think they will make beast hunter optimus similar to sentinel primes truck form.

That ‘Bayverse’ Energon blade has become canon to the Transformers franchise via: films, cartoons, games and comics! (e.g. Prime continuity, etc.)

That vehicle mode will be in future movies, if not in ROTB

Honestly I’d lose my mind if we see Optimus Prime transform into this truck in the movie!

I feel this is about perfect for the younger audience it's intended for. Lights. sounds, spring loaded gimmicks, and a simple transformation will definitely appeal to children moreso than the more involved Studio Series figures and or Legacy figures. That said, if featured in the movie will definitely hold out for a Studio Series Leader Class of this design as fully realized/articulated/painted this could be an absolutely top tier Optimus Prime. The Beast mode gimmick though feels too ridiculous for the film and more/less inspired for the toys. Good indication is the off road Bumblebee which has a similar toy in this scale also has the Studio Series deluxe release with no hint of a beast mode other than the updated vehicle mode. Time I guess will tell.

The swords look really cool. Are smaller SS figures able to hold the swords from Beast Mode Optimus and Bumblebee?
