The hidden 8th sin: Showing off and bragging about your expensive clothes, with the intention of bringing others down
  • @jonmolnar5440
My 'why' is that it helps with self-esteem and in all honesty, I'm getting tired of letting people down, including myself.
  • God, family, legacy. Nobody’s perfect, but giving anything but my best is cheating the ones I love out of the man I could be.
  • @obiomaebere
23minutes of how to be a real man in a real style. SAAALUTE!!!

Yes on etiquette! Yes on manners! I'm British, so the whole "gentleman" thing is fairly engrained in our culture, and I find it endlessly fascinating how so many people approach it like putting on a costume- I'm dressed as gentleman today, hypebeast tomorrow. Your actions and manners are the true measure of a sophisticated and elegant man. Merry Christmas, Antonio, and greetings from the Royal Military Academy
  • Antonio, After wearing a uniform from 28 to 58 yrs old, I lost interest in clothes that I use to have. Now I’m building a wardrobe and my wife and daughters love it! Thanks for all your advice.
  • @Thedailynerd
I dress well because I enjoy it. I love working at jobs where I get to dress this way. As it shows that I am professional and put together

My “why” is simple: I want to be a good example for my children. Every father wants to look at his kids and say they’re exceptional, but I know that mine can outshine me by a light year someday as long as they have a solid base; I wake up every day and go to work to build that base for them. No other reasons necessary.

Here is my "why" - Since middle school, I was bullied every day. Then, I wore soccer clothes and went into an "emo" dressing phase. One day, I noticed that the way I dressed made friends, family, and teachers view me as something I was not. From that day (12 years ago), I have dressed nice. The results have paid off more than anything else in my life. Getting jobs is easier, no negative first judgments, and promotions happen quickly. (As a sidebar, I was promoted from a job after being there less than a month, over people there more than a year, because I "looked the part" and was "well dressed enough to put in front of parents.") Now, I am in law school, have worked for a state supreme court justice, and meeting big law lawyers for possible jobs. Currently, I am getting into shoes for the first time, and get complements on my Allen Edmonds Hamilton boots when I run into meetings. My style has improved, but I am still learning.
  • My “why”: I’m tired of looking and living in the ghetto tired of working for nothing. Today I put out some resumes at 5 star/luxury business resorts and stuff and that’s all I’m applying for, high class. I got my clothes at a thrift store I’m tall n skinny so of course clothes are baggy a dress shirt two pants two blazers. Might not fit right but I’m not giving up. I’m even learning about etiquette and manners
  • @djhargrave
Made a lot of these mistakes myself, bad fit being one of the absolute worst
  • @IxamusMC
3:02 I woke up when i was around 27, i will be 29 soon. I learned how to look good with my outfits, i get so many compliments.

I've learned so much from this channel, almost in an academic way.The classiest Style Channel on youtube🔥
  • @saadbinabad1902
Antonio sir! My why is: I want to be the part of those people who are trying to fix some kind of misconceptions and I want to stand out without caring what my society thinks of my style if I'm confident and trying something new because I'm from Pakistan and I live in village where people have assemptions about style as everything you talk about in your videos .
  • @stsz12
3 min in and this is already one of your best videos ever
  • @realfinalsay
You don’t judge a man by the mistakes he has made; you judge a man by what he has learned from them.
  • @DaveNagrom
I love what you said about etiquette. My grandmother sat me at the table when I was 8, at a formal dinner setting and showed me how proper etiquette. She told me, proper etiquette is a moral obligation. To do unto others, as you would have them do unto you. Manners and respect will carry you through the world. Great advice! I like to dress well for work, even though many people dress business casual, most of my colleagues do not make an effort to dress well. It communicates that I am serious about my job. Being detail-oriented is an important function of my profession, and I like projecting that with my attire. I dress well for church. It communicates to ME, that this is important. God deserves my best. It puts me in the right frame of mind for the service. I dress up for dates with my wife. I like to plan occasions where we dress up. It affords us the opportunity to see each other at our best. It communicates to her, that she is my most important person. Why should my boss get my best, and she get less? I spend my work days with him. I am spending my LIFE with HER!
  • My why is my family. Representing myself so they are proud of me and my business clients are more happy with me.
  • @chrisadam1283
I'm 42 and about to be divorced. I need to lift my game and a wardrobe update is a must. A new life is about to begin so looking the part is my 'why', and also my 'because'.
