Happy International Women's Day!

I am delighted to teach you all about an early female animator from the Golden Age of Animation, named Laverne Harding and her history of animating.

From her childhood to her Winsor McKay Award in 1980, Harding has made significant impact on the gender gaps in Hollywood animation studios, a respectful relationship with her bosses and peers, helped animate many cartoon series including Woody Woodpecker and Friends, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Hanna-Barbera, The Pink Panther, Looney Tunes and Filmation, and had a comic strip illustrated by herself titled Cynical Susie. Learn about her incredible story in this project!
