Watch the Batty Ball Bouncer video here!

There are 60 levels at present. If someone beats them all then I may consider adding more...
This isn't meant to be an exact copy of Arkanoid. There are several great Scratch versions of that already. I've added my own slant to the mechanics, effects and general gameplay to make this different. I did borrow the graphics and level design though...
Precision mode allows you to direct the ball much more accurately than normal mode whereas normal mode is a more conventional Arkanoid-style control system.
Music: Bolero by Maurice Ravel, March of the Mods by Joe Loss and His Orchestra, It's a Secret from Battleblock Theater, Yakety Sax by Boots Randolph and James Q. “Spider” Rich
Graphics: Arkanoid: Revenge of Doh (iOS)
SFX: Arkanoid (SNES)
Level design: Arkanoid: Revenge of Doh

@gregatku inspired me to make a game like this during our discussions about a bat 'n' ball tutorial he's making: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/179893289/
@papipupepappa deserves mention for his excellent version: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/390057141/
@ArnoHu has a really fun breakout game here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/72990950/
And respect to Woz for writing Little Brick Out back in the day. Man, I loved that game :)
Still reading? I've left my editor in the code - press E while hitting the green flag to fire it up! Once you've opened the editor, scores are no longer registered in the cloud variables until you've refreshed the project.
#games #arcade #description(My take on the breakout/arkanoid type games. This was put together fairly quickly but I'm really pleased with the result. Give it a go!)
