Hi i’m Ian living the OFF GRID dream in a remote area of Scotland, I’m in the process of building my debt free wooden off grid cabin & homestead which i live in with my good friend for many years Kevin & my Labs & two cats we’re diving into this chapter of our lives with no building experience just learning as we go along.

We cook all of our meals on a log burning stove which Is were we get all our hot water & heat from, i generate all my electricity from my off grid solar system which I installed myself we’ve got some big building projects planned in 2024/25
