Scammer: So, you will be receiving- Shrimp: You, me, scam, NOW.
-
At this point, “RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION” is just the catch phrase of your scambaiting series
-
"Okay just send moneh now" Dang it's become real hard to differentiate scammers from finance professionals these days
-
perhaps try adding to the confusion in the next scambait by pretending you're not native english? Just a thought
-
scammer: you will be receiving- shrimp: how much is the fee? scammer: frantically flipping through script
-
Say your broke and would like to pay monthly
-
Try letting them know you know they're scamming, but convince them you're interested in becoming a scammer and maybe see if they'll hire you. Pretend you live in their country or are moving there and need a job. That could be interesting
-
Great video! I'll give it a like on Tuesday
-
im gonna predict you got a world record for scambaiting

I wonder if you could convince the scammers to solve captchas, as a "security measure"? Say that there are all sorts of automated messages nowadays so insist on sending them a captcha with each email, and insist that they include the solved captcha in each of their messages back to you. Try to get them to solve as many as you can. Bonus ideas: (1) At some point, insist that a correct captcha is incorrect, and insist they solve two additional ones as an additional security measure. (2) Claim that you've just learned that the type of captcha you've been using is weak, and upgrade to different captchas. (3) Send a broken image (file not found, or something), misunderstand and become angry when the scammer won't give you an answer. (4) The final captcha you send could have a solution of something like "Idiot Scammer"

Toad: The princess is in another castle. Mario: Okay, nevermind the Yahoo.
-
"Yahoo does email?" This is where I was rolling on the floor.
-
Try to confuse them by getting really technical about everything. Or just try to start a real conversation with them about how their day is etc.

As a speedrunner, I approve of this method. Here's #futurescambaitingideas : do a normal scambaiting session but run everything you want to say through Google Translate so that it is incomprehensible. Some languages (Hawaiian, Pashto, Hebrew, Traditional Chinese) are easier to screw stuff up than others (French, Portuguese, Spanish).

I honestly believe you are one of the only pure YouTubers left, doing what you love rather than what will get you the most clicks.
-
what if you try to lower the amount of money that they ask for?
-
Try baiting them with memes.
-
If scammers ask you to send dollars, can you please ask them which dollar they want (US/Canada/Australia/Zimbabwe/etc)

From sausage-wobbling machines to speed scam baiting. You’re awesome, dude.
