  • In my opinion, mods that fit the Minecraft style are the best. That's why I love origin realms so much
  • @kousarpatel9449
mods that fit the style of the game are better than the ones that don't imo
  • @sycam0r
i love minecraft in its entirety, but for sure all my years of playing mods is what kept me coming back and really focused. over time you get tired of vanilla unless you really have some plan in mind that is more than just exploration, because in terms of loot and exploration there isn't much to do in vanilla. now with this update that improved a lot, the fact that you have to go to some places and be an archaeologist is pretty cool and makes you want to explore more. but mods will always win for me.
  • With the "inventory management" section, you were using the bundle to move things from one place to another, which is what the bundle wasn't meant for. It's meant to store a bunch of items that you have a bunch of small stacks of and up your inventory, like 4 rotten flesh, 2 seeds, 8 daisies, 1 bell, and 4 beds for example so that they only take up one space instead of eight. The chest moving mod really dampens the use of shulker boxes, and it doesn't feel Minecrafty in the sense that picking up a storage block with everything inside is a late-game luxury, not something you get at the beginning.
  • Honestly, based on the thumbnail, Minecraft definitely did it better. The sniffer design looks like a mix of a giant dinosaur and a droopy eared dog, and I LOVE it. The “redesign” in the thumbnail not only doesn’t fit the actual Minecraft style, but just makes it look like a generic dinosaur, rather than something unique.

It looks cool and all but some players prefer the simplicity of minecraft and not the chaotic resource packs
  • @sandwichqueen
I think one big hurdle for hostile mobs is the random biome generation. I think they are starting to figure out the plan for hostile mobs though. you don't want to raise the difficulty too quick for new players, but you want to add enough challenges for old. The ancient cities are amazing for this. I do think the deep dark spawns a little bit too close to spawn though.
  • I love everything showcased, and think it s very cool. But it was mainly a long add for their servers, using many of their features XD
  • @syszee
Did you know there were missing features from the update? Check out EVERYTHING MISSING FROM MINECRAFT 1.20: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPrnz-RCLAI&list=UULF14fB9eWBu579yRWLUhbFdQ&index=4&ab_channel=SystemZee This video is quite different than what I would normally do, but I figured it may be a good chance to showcase some cool mods that other people have made. After all, there's so much incredible talent out there. Though, it should be said: I think Mojang does a fantastic job given their workflow limitations. Keep in mind that they have to filter their ideas and development through a chain of approval. Where as a mod developer can make something with no real negative impact. I think the state of the game is what gives us so much inspiration. Consider it the perfect partnership! If Minecraft was already perfect.. there would be no need for mod development. Anyways, those are my thoughts! Enjoy the video and be sure to check out our discord: discord.gg/syszee

In all fairness, the modded archeology is just what early previews of Minecraft's archeology looked like. Also, the Shulker Box is much better than the bundle in most situations. Being real though, all mobs in mob votes should have a second chance, not just the second place winner. However, Minecraft DID make the Glare and Iceologer first.

I understand why Minecraft doesn't add mods/ features that are too complicated or appeal to a specific community, but I really wish they would add vanilla style mods that just improve quality of life, i.e.: - DoubleSlabs - Extended Slabs+ - More Slabs, Stairs & Walls - Spiders 2.0 - Carry On - MrCrayfish's Furniture - Chipped - Better Nether & Better End - Alex's Mobs - Doodads - Immersive Aircraft, etc.
  • @narwhal_
i want a frosty and a small fry, i deserve it... on a serious note, as you said in the start, mods do it differently! i love mods so much for their broken nature, and when they are polished they are even better! stuff like tech reborn and ae2 have different feels than projecte and botania, and have the ability to add something to minecraft that would never be added. i do love minecrafts older versions too! i dont JUST play newer versions, because i get to see the differences over the years, and have to adjust to the old ways of minecraft with/without the various mechanics that have been added or removed over the years
  • @Lorkynn
The only reason why I'd have a point in favour for the ender eyes for the base game is because if you loose one or accidentally destroy one, you can easily replace it. As for the actual End, yeah totally mods right now.
  • @Knarfy
I like the part where SystemZee said “it’s SystemZee time” and then SystemZee’d all over the place
  • @smudgethecat8315
I think I know why Mojang takes so long with updates mod developers usually use apps that are made FOR modding, while Mojang actually has to code it themselves and design the textures and stuff. This is because it has to be released to the game rather than being optional like mods are.
  • Ngl the Inventory, mobs, and end game ideas are the best. End game idea is very very fun, you have to go defeat bosses around the Minecraft world to defeat the Ender Dragon, pretty cool concept ❤
  • @KinToInferno
I have issue with the Inventory section Mainly because the mod used is just a cheaper and quicker way to get Shulker Boxes Sure you can only carry one chest at a time, but it’s still basically a shulker box Also, the Bundle isn’t for most items It’s basically a garbage bin where you put stuff you don’t need in your inventory, but want to keep Primarily non-stackable/rare items like broken Diamond pickaxes, netherite, golden apples, OR EVEN JUST 64 MILK BUCKETS This is no hate for you, it just erks me a little when people misconstrue the purpose of a bundle
  • @Harupokkk
I must say, the different varieties of eyes makes the game more difficult yet it's pretty cool knowing that it makes The End a rewarding end of a great adventure. I would love to see how speedrunners would do it!
